Hello Everyone, and welcome to another Life Catalyst Blog Post!
Please have a look at this picture. As you can see it is an optical illusion. The picture seems to be moving, when it is obvsiously not moving. It is our “faulty” vision that makes it move, and the only way to stop that movement is to fix your gaze at one point. At that point, not only we stop the movement and we can see what the picture really is, but we also have a larger grasp of the picture itself.
The reality that life offers us is a faulty reality, which we can understand only if we are able to concentrate and develop our awareness more. What we perceive with our ever-flowing mind becomes our reality just because we perceive it to be so, erroneously.
We can live fullly present in this moment if we learn how to stop the moving perceptions that make us identify with a faulty reality. As you have probably heard by many people and teachers, the present moment is the one that we have, all the rest is a waste of energy. Our consciousness is not anchored if not through the awareness of the present moment.
