Welcome to another Life Catalyst Blog Post!

Today I would like to share with you what I consider to be the truth about Free Will. Do we have it? Or not? To which degree? Does everyone have the same amount of Free Will or is it stronger in some people more than others?

If we imagine a life without Free Will it would be discouraging. That would mean that we are totally trapped into our conditions, no matter which ones they are, good or bad, and totally subjected to circumstances that are totally out of our control.

Having Free Will means that we can make a choice and, as we know, we all can. This also means that we have potentially the Power to change our life. The question is, what kind of choices can you make? Are they Free choices, or are they driven by external and internal conditions? If yours is the last case, even when you are making a choice it is not a product of Free Will.

But the truth is that we have Free Will, but only to a certain degree. The amount of Free Will that we have varies according to each individual. Some people have mor Free Will than others, but we all have the potential to have Free Will at the maximum level.

The amount of Free Will one has depends mainly on two factors:

  1. The Circumstances You Are In
  2. Your Awareness

The Circumstances You Are In

If you have insurmountable limitations, you probably have a part of Free Will that you can’t use. but that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a beautiful life. When we find ourselves facing our limitations we understand what can and can’t be under our own control. You can only move in the external and internal environment you live and are experiencing. When you are inside a room you can only move around to the extent that that room allows you to. If you need to move more than the room allows you to, then you must get out of that room.

Awareness

To come to the decision of moving away from that room you need to be aware that that room is limiting you. Let me repeat it, you need to be aware.

The circumstances you are in and Awareness compensate and support each other. If your environment is limiting, but you have a high degree of awareness, you can get out of limiting conditions.

Awareness is the key. In fact, even if you have an environment that is apparently without limits but you don’t have Awareness (ignorance removed), than you will get to a point where you will trap yourself in limitations and patterns.

The total absence, or negative expression, of one of these two factors will diminish dramatically the amount of Free Will you have.

Awareness can be gained. If there is a decision that you can take right now is that of becoming more Aware of your circumstances. You can gain Awareness, through books, Life Coaching, Meditation, and insightful talks.

Your Life Changing Power has to do with understanding where you are at, where you are going, and the necessary and realistic sacrifices you must make in order to get where you need to go.

Sacrifice means learning to direct your energy, attention, and activity towards one point: what is not part of that point will eventually have to subside for that moment.

UNTIL NEXT TIME!

As always, I am keen on hearing from you, leave a comment!
