Welcome to another Life Catalyst Blog!

As you probably already know, in India there is a huge amount of knowledge regarding Mantras and “special sounds” that, if chanted, can bring changes into your body, mind, soul and circumstances.

Since the topic of Mantras is a very well known topic, easily found on the internet and in good books, the secret that I am going to share here is not really known. Maybe because it requires a focused mind and the ability to listen into the silence, this techqnique has been revealed to only a few people. Hopefully now, to millions!!!

A Mantra can be considered as mystical energy in the form of sound. Ancient sages were able to listen to the sounds of the cosmos and brought down those sounds into their closest correspondence to the spoken word: Mantras.

As some people know, for some people certain Mantras are better than others. In fact, in the tradition of Yoga, it is the guru who chooses the mantra for his disciple, giving him the right one for him, meaning the one that will resonate positively within his soul and bring positive changes.

The correct way of chanting a Mantra has, in truth, three phases.

  1. The Mantra is chanted, physically, with the vocal cords and sounds comes physically out, audible by anyone around.
  2. The Mantra becomes mental and penetrates the subconscious level, where it is chanted almost automatically and on default. This is a much deeper expression with the mantra itself and a more complete connection with its power.
  3. The Mantra penetrates the subconscious and enters the Superconscious realm, where it reunites with your Higher Self and its own origin. At this point the Mantra becomes a specific sound-vibration that has no translatable language. it is the pure emanation of an energy-force in consciousness. At this point, the repetition of the Mantra is an emanation of powerful energy that has a specific vibration. That’s when you resonate with the essence that the mantra can bring you.

Since I believe we have access to our full and highest potential, here is a technique that will make you resonate with a desired reality, object of desire, or spiritual advancement. This practice will speed up the process of your life change, but it requires discipline and deep attunement with the meditative state.
Before practicing this method you should become a skilled meditator, in other words, you must have gained the ability to quiet the mind and have no interference from the mind at will. Practice the Hong Sau Technique for at least three months, practice it regularly, and you will see results.

If you are a skilled meditator, then do as follow:

  1. Choose the object of your meditation.
This is your object of desire, the life change you want to see happening, a symbol of wealth, happiness and joy, for example.
  2. Concentrate on it.
Touch it, feel it, taste it, involve all you mental senses in it, until there is nothing but the object of your meditation and your awareness.
  3. Meditate upon it.
If you have done step 2 correctly, the concentration now becomes effortless, therefore you are at this stage.
  4. Union.
Now you are absorbing the qualities of this object into your being, and there is no more difference between you and your object of meditation. Be Aware but do not interfere.
  5. Translate it into a sound.
Now “listen” to the vibration of the object. This is its Mantra. It might not be a definite sound, but it is a compulsive energy of some kind, it is unexplainable. Experiment with it, then you will know.
  6. Repeat and/or emanate that sound-vibration/Mantra.
As you have kept your Awareness high during all this process, now emanate that vibration many times, maybe once every second. Repeat this emanation for 108 times. This practice equals (and surpasses) the traditional way of chanting a Mantra.
  7. Rest in meditation.
After you  have finished step 6, rest. Forget all about the practice and let go. Rest for about 5 minutes or more. This is the time where you just absorb the benefit of the practice.
  8. Slowly open your eyes, as you breathe in, and come back to your normal activities.

One of the advantages of this practice is that you will experience particular sounds that are automatically resonating with your soul, therefore they can be considered to be the best ones for you.
As I said, this practice requires some good skills in meditation and the ability to maintain your Awareness high when approaching deep states of consciousness.

This is ADVANCED MATERIAL! If you are able to practice this technique, you have accessed a Great Power. Then you should repeat this practice, with the same object of meditation, every day until you see results.

DO NOT MIX, do not change the object of meditation,  and then come back to the  same old one. Continue to practice on the same object until you see results. Sometimes, you may have the impression that the sounds are changing. It doesn’t matter, go with the sound-vibrations/Mantras that are revealed to you in that particular moment. You might have refined your perceptions or your soul resonates in a new way therefore you might perceive things differently.
Nevertheless, as we all know, the present moment is most important. But if the sound you receive is totally different, then question if you are still having the same object as part of your meditation, or if you have gone deep enough and quieted your mind.
